How to get to Phi Phi Island - Day trips leave from Phuket and Krabi every day, but many choose to make it a two- or three-day stop. The magical sunrises and sunsets are worth it. Travel agents can arrange transport, be it by ferry or speedboat (see Phi Phi information page for details). Once you're there, getting around is simple. There are no cars, few motorbikes, and only the occasional bicycle. The winding web of pedestrian-friendly footpaths weaving around Ton Sai Bay makes it easy to cover short distances. Trips to other spots on the island require hiring a longtail boat - at least for those that can't walk on water.
